The new tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, according to rumors, will have a 9.7-inch screen and the launch would be scheduled before December 30 this year
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, with two years behind, has now made its time. It is, therefore, quite logical and almost expected that its successor is on the launch pad as evidenced by some promotional flyers complete with technical specifications already circulating in China.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be larger than both its predecessors with a 9.7-inch touch screen - like the iPad Pro 7 - with a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. The Chinese tablet, moreover, would be slightly thinner and lighter than its Apple rival with a thickness of 6.08 mm compared to 6.1 mm of the Cupertino's gem, and a featherweight of only 380 grams, or 57 grams less than the iPad. In addition to being a little smaller and narrower (239.5 x 164.5 mm). Xiaomi thus enters into direct competition with Apple's iPad Pro hoping to snatch the Cupertino giant a slice of the market.
Excellent technical characteristics
The Mi Pad 3 Xiaomi, from a purely technical point of view, is powered by a seventh-generation Intel Gen Core m3-7Y30 processor assisted by 8 GB of RAM and available in two versions: one with 128GB of storage and the other with 256 GB of storage space. To complete the picture we think Windows 10, a battery not bad 8290 mAh, a USB port type C for charging and a dual camera (rear 16 MP with dual LED flash and a front with 8 MP sensor).
Super cheap
The Mi Pad 3 by Xiaomi, always according to rumors, should be presented next December 30 in two versions with 128 and 256 GB of storage respectively priced at 1,999 yuan / 273 euros and 2,299 Yuan /314 euros. The keyboard will be sold separately at 99 yuan/13 euros. It is not yet clear whether in the plans of the Chinese manufacturer there is also an Android version. It is not a hypothesis to be excluded. For marketing in Europe there is no news about it.
