On August 19, Asus will take the veil off its new line of smartphones. According to rumors coming from Asia, the Taiwanese company would be ready to launch as many as 4 new smartphones, which will cover all price ranges. The lowest common denominator of the four devices will be the name: all will carry the prefix Asus Zenfone 4, followed by an adjective that will make it clear the characteristics.
After the rumors of the past days that have anticipated the characteristics of the Asus Zenfone 4 Pro, the top of the range that will mount the chipset Snapdragon 835 and a dual rear camera, come some rumors about the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro, two devices dedicated to young people and that will have a dual front camera to take high quality selfies. The goal of Asus is to capture the curiosity of young people by presenting two smartphones with unique features of their kind.
Features Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie
The first of the two smartphones is the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie, device with very basic features and that should be launched on the market at a price of 299 euros. The smartphone will mount a Snapdragon 430 chipset supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory expandable with microSD card. The display is 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. As mentioned, the photographic compartment is the most interesting feature: on the back we find a 16 Megapixel sensor, while in the front there are two cameras: one 20 Megapixel and one 8 Megapixel. The battery is 3000 mAh.
Features Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is the premium version of the device seen above. The technical specifications are quite interesting: the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro mounts a Snapdragon 625 chipset supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory expandable with a microSD. The screen is 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The rear camera is 16-megapixel, while the front compartment consists of a 24-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor. The device should be launched on the market at 399 euros.
