Aumi Mini, the night light that notifies messages and emails

The Aumi Mini LED light can be used both to illuminate rooms and to receive email and message notifications. It will arrive in December at a price of 17€

There are some inventions that, especially at the time of their launch, can seem bizarre and of dubious usefulness. This is the case of Aumi Mini, a night light that, in addition to brighten the environment, has an extravagant feature: it notifies, always with LED strokes, messages and emails.

And not only that. The device can be used to know the weather forecast or to know if the smart door of the house has been opened. Aumi Mini can be connected to any USB port. Once connected to the home Wi-Fi network, the device is also able to warn users if the Internet signal has been interrupted. All this by emitting flashing lights, which change color and speed depending on the type of notification received.

Come funziona Aumi Mini

Thompson's device can, in addition, turn off other smart lights in the home.

Price and release date

After the collection campaign concludes, the first devices will be delivered starting, according to estimates, in December 2017. Starting price: 20 U.S. dollars (about 17.50 euros, according to the current exchange rate).
