In poco più di un anno è diventato l'influencer più seguito d'Italia su TikTok, senza dire una sola parola e sbucciando banane. E' Khaby Lame ed è l'astro nascente dei social italiani.
Khaby Lame è il nuovo re italiano di TikTok, con i suoi 34 milioni di follower e 498 milioni di Mi piace grazie ai quali straccia, letteralmente, Gianluca Vacchi che di follower ne ha “solo" 17,5 milioni e di Mi piace ne ha 177 milioni (qui la classifica degli influencer italiani su TikTok). Eppure, la storia di Khaby Lame su TikTok è molto recente: ha avuto inizio poco più di un anno fa, a marzo 2020.
Questo ragazzo, d’altronde, è giovanissimo: ha solo 21 anni. La giovane età, però, non gli ha impedito di fare successo con una velocità mai vista prima su TikTok Italia. Khaby Lame is a Senegalese boy of 21, who has lived in Italy since he was just one. Like many Italian boys of his age, he has been dealing with social and digital media since he was born, and the naturalness with which he makes his short videos on TikTok proves it.
He lives in Chivasso, in the province of Turin, in a neighborhood of council houses. Quello che fa Khaby Lame, in pratica, non è altro che trovare video “assurdi" (o assurdamente stupidi) su TikTok e rifarli mostrando quanto sono stupidi.

Today Khaby Lame has the best TikTok profile in Italy, but also an Instagram profile (where he republishes the same videos) with 6,6 million followers and a YouTube channel ready but still empty. It is a channel opened in April 2016, so it is very likely that it is actually a channel of the agency that follows him.
To say with certainty how much Khaby Lame can earn today is not easy, because the factors that affect the monetization of videos on social platforms are many.
The bulk of earnings on social, moreover, is not made from views but from sponsorships of products included in the videos.
