Il futuro della piattaforma Disney + era stato presentato alcuni giorni fa durante l’Investor Day. Durante quella serata, la compagnia ha annunciato tutti i nuovi progetti, tra cui molti titoli in uscita a gennaio 2021.
Il nuovo anno si apre quindi alla grande. La novità più importante sarà la nascita di un nuovo canale Star dedicato a contenuti per un pubblico più maturo, che nascerà il 23 febbraio 2021. It starts in January with many TV series, movies, but also shorts, documentaries and spectacular shows. Among the most anticipated of this month stand out those Marvel, or Wandavision and Legends, a new docu-series on heroes and villains of the brand. There will also be nice surprises for fans of short films, with Pixar Popcorn, as well as several original films and many National Geographic documentaries. In short, if a good day starts in the morning, then 2021 is going to be really busy.
January 2021: two new Marvel series on Disney ù+
Wandavision is one of the most anticipated titles of 2021. It stars a superpowered couple consisting of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). It is directed by Matt Shakman and will be released streaming on Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
Marvel Studios: Legends instead will be available from January 8. The show will chronicle some of the key players in the upcoming 2021 Marvel series in an original and in-depth way. The first two episodes will be just about Wanda and Visione.
Disney+ January 2021: movies and content for the whole family
Onward - Beyond Magic is an animated film centered on the adventures of two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot. It is a film full of spells, obstacles and incredible discoveries. It will arrive on streaming from January 6, 2021.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader chronicles the return to Narnia of Lucy, Edmund and Eustace to meet Prince Caspian. It will be an exciting adventure full of surprises. Coming to streaming from January 29, 2021.
Pixar Popcorn is the collection for all lovers of short films: the protagonists are Pixar characters. Streaming from January 22.
Finally, for the little ones comes the fourth season of Pj Masks - Superpigiamini from January 29.
New Disney+ January 2021: National Geographic titles
National Geographic documentaries are among the streaming platform's most beloved content.
On January 1, 2021, 700 Sharks will arrive, chronicling the research and studies of a team that for the first time will approach a school of 700 sharks located in Polynesia.
Also with a shark theme will arrive other content: The Law of Sharks (January 1) and At the Table with Sharks (January 1).
Amelia Earhart: A Life in Flight is instead the documentary about the pioneering aviator broke records in flight. It will arrive on January 22.
Also starting January 22, audiences can watch the documentary Wild Uganda.
