After the first launch of Android 10 and EMUI 10 in November only on the P30 and Mate 30 smartphones, Huawei's update policy has been the subject of numerous rumors and a consequent lot of confusion. While everyone wondered which devices would receive the new UI and the new operating system, very little official news came from the company.
Now, however, things have changed: Huawei has issued a press release in which it puts in black and white which devices will receive EMUI 10 as early as January and which will receive it in the following months. This is a list dedicated to smartphones sold in Europe and other Western countries, so it is also valid for devices sold in Italy. As always, users will be able to notice the availability of the update thanks to a special notification sent by Huawei, by going to the smartphone's settings, under System > Software Update or using HiCare > Quick Services > Update.
EMUI 10: what's new
The new interface brings with it many interesting new features, such as dark mode and multi-screen collaboration between smartphones and Huawei PCs. A new camera app also arrives, which is easier to use thanks to a larger zoom bar. There will also be new photo filters, which can be applied even before the shot is taken. In addition to the typical Android 10 security and performance benefits, the version customized by Huawei will bring additional ones like the latest version of GPU Turbo for gaming and full encryption of data, connections and payments.

Ci sono poi molti altri dispositivi che riceveranno Android 10 con EMUI 10, ma solo “nei mesi successivi“. Putroppo Huawei non specifica esattamente quando, né comunica una data massima entro la quale il nuovo sistema operativo e la nuova interfaccia grafica potranno essere scaricati e installati.
