Huawei smartphones update to EMUI 9.1: the list and what’s new

A new update for EMUI 9.1 arrives, bringing with it several new features and September security patches. Here's when it arrives and on which smartphones

While many Huawei users are waiting to receive the stable update to EMUI 10 (the arrival on the first smartphones is expected by the end of the year), the Chinese company continues to work on EMUI 9.1, bringing small novelties and improvements. With EMUI 9.1, Huawei smartphones have taken a step forward in terms of stability and performance, thanks to the new Linux EROFS file system. Improvements have also been made in graphics optimization thanks to GPU Turbo 3.0, which also enables support for new video games.

Huawei is working hard to bring EMUI 9.1 to as many smartphones as possible. Many have already received it, others will get it in the coming months. These days, a new EMUI 9.1 update is coming, which in addition to the September security patches, adds the Huawei Share Feature, to support smart displays, and improves the quality of photos with the Super filter to be applied to portrait mode. EMUI 9.1, the main new features

With EMUI 9.1, Huawei has introduced several interesting new features to its user interface. Starting with the new Ark Compiler that improves system fluidity and the Linux EROFS file system that makes the entire user interface faster and more stable. Also introduced are on-screen gestures that make it easier to use the smartphone. There is also a new feature dedicated to gaming: GPU Turbo 3.0. Also added new applications such as AR Measure that allows you to calculate the distance using the smartphone's camera. Inoltre, grazie a Huawei Share OneHop è possibile condividere con un computer foto, video e documenti in pochissimi secondi.

Infine, con l’aggiornamento alla EMUI 9.1.0.226 arrivano anche le patch di sicurezza di settembre.

I primi dispositivi ad aver ricevuto l’aggiornamento alla EMUI 9.1.0.226 sono i P30 e i P30 Pro. Nelle prossime settimane l’update potrebbe riguardare altri modelli dell’azienda cinese, soprattutto per quanto riguarda le patch di sicurezza di settembre. Ecco una lista non completa:
