Google: here’s the update to the Gboard keyboard for iPhone and iPad

The US company has released a new version of its keyboard for iOS devices, you will be able to discover GIFs and emoji and use voice typing

Google has announced that it has been working to perfect its Gboard for iOS devices, the intuitive and animated keyboard designed by the US company. The time has come to see the results of Google's efforts as a new version of the Gboard has just been released.

With the update for iOS 10 will come new emoji, the famous Google Doodles, for those who don't know them are the animated logos that Google makes to honor holidays, anniversaries or major events. Thanks to the update, there will also be voice typing and language support that is enriched with new dictionaries. The keyboard now also integrates the search function, pressing the Google key on Gboard for iPhone and iPad users can search for information, share what they find with friends, discover new GIFs and emoji, and more. All of this without having to exit a messaging app and open Safari or Chrome.

The New Supported Languages

To see the new Doodles simply look at whether the G button is animated or not. If it moves, just scroll over it to see the logo modified by Google for the specific occasion. To use voice typing instead, just press the microphone symbol and speak. The keyboard will type the text for us. The update also brings 15 additional languages to Gboard, including Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Catalan, Hungarian, Malaysian, Russian, Spanish in the Latin American variant and Turkish.
