Creating folders on the iPhone - provide structure
The extensive tools that your iPhone offers you ensure that you can use the smartphone not only for private use, but also professionally. To make sure you don't lose track of your files in the process, it makes sense to create folders and thus give your iPhone structure.
How to create folders on your iPhone
Creating a structure is a bit time-consuming at first, but ensures that you keep track of your content.- In order for a folder to be created, you must have two apps that you want to put into a folder.
- Once you've decided, keep your finger on the app until all the apps start wiggling. This takes about two seconds.
- Now drag the app over the other app and hold your finger there again. Again, you have to wait two seconds until both apps disappear in a new folder.
- Now you still have to give the folder a meaningful name.
- You can now continue to apply this principle and thus assign all applications to categories. You can put as many apps in a folder as you want - provided you are using iOS 7 or a newer operating system.
- Once you are done, you click the home button and the apps stop moving.
