No Man's Sky: How to get the Nautilon submarine

The introduction of underwater constructions has added a whole facet to No Man's Sky. Important for locomotion there is the Nautilon submarine and we show you how to get it.

With the Nautilon submarine you can make fast progress underwater.

As part of the major updates, No Man's Sky became a much better and bigger game. The Nautilon submarine is a particularly successful proof of this.

This is how you unlock the Nautilon submarine in No Man's Sky

You get the blueprint for the Nautilon submarine as part of the quest series, with which you previously unlocked the three land vehicles. Thus, you will need the vehicle terminal including NPC.

• For the Nautilon blueprint, the quest "Dreams of the Deep" will send you on a quest to find a spaceship whose wreckage is underwater.
• Using the galaxy map, find the correct system.
• Land on an island as close as possible to the quest icon.
• Dive down to the ship and communicate with the data container.

As a reward, you will receive the Nautilon blueprint and should build the vehicle. Strictly speaking, you do not build the vehicle itself, but the platform, which is called Nautilon Chamber. You will need 5 metal plates, 100 salt and 4 crystal sulfide. The latter can be found underwater, at hydrothermal vents.Alternatively, you can simply buy the blueprint in the Nexus: The correct address for this is the Construction Research Station, where you can unlock the Nautilon Chamber in the category "Transport Modules" for 10 Salvaged Data.
