If you want to watch TV on your laptop, the easiest way is via the Internet. Most television stations now offer their program online as a stream, so you no longer need a television set. 2. If you are mainly interested in the program of public broadcasters, MediathekView is a good choice. Once installed, this tool gives you access to the broadcasts of ARD, ZDF and the third programs.
3. If you use Windows, you can also install the program "anyTV" to stream the TV program. It is free and allows you to stream even international channels.

Television on the laptop: So it goes even without Internet

If you want to watch TV on the laptop even without an Internet connection, this is possible via DVB-T or DVB-C standard. For the use of this variant, however, you need additional hardware in the form of a special USB stick and an antenna or a cable connection.
