Is the display repair doable by yourself?

Generally, you can replace the display on your Samsung Note 10 by yourself. However, you should only perform the repair if you have experience with smartphones.

1. First, you need to turn off your smartphone and wait a few minutes.
2. Since the display is heavily glued, you should carefully heat the edges of the display. A temperature between 50 and 80 degrees is optimal for this.
3. Take a narrow but blunt object and insert it between the glass and the case.
4. Lift the glass slowly and piece by piece. If the glass does not come off, then heat it again.
5. To lift off the large areas, use a credit card and carefully slide it along under the glass.
6. Clean the case carefully and remove all adhesive residue completely.
7. After that, make sure that the surface is free of dust and moisture.
8. Pull the protective film off your new display and place it on the device.
9. Stick the edges with the special adhesive and wait a few minutes before you start using the smartphone.

The difficulty

An advantage of the Samsung Note 10 is the large display with the rounded edges. However, this makes it more difficult to remove the glass. Therefore, plan enough time and work only with professional materials.
