iPhone: How do I find my own number?

With the iPhone from Apple you can not only text. Making phone calls is also possible with the smartphone. To share your number, you don't have to memorize it. The iPhone offers several ways to display your cell phone number.

How to find your cell phone number on iPhone?

Your own cell phone number is noted in several places on iPhone.

1. Call up the Phone app. This is located by default at the bottom left of the quick launch bar.
2. Now go to the "Contacts" tab. Here you will find your own phone number at the top under your name.
3. You can also display your own number via the settings.
4. Open the settings app. This is marked by a gray gear icon.
5. In the settings, go further to "Phone". Here, your number will also be displayed at the top under "My number".

If you would like to keep your own number hidden so that it is not displayed when you call someone else, you can also set this up in the settings. To do this, go to "Phone" and uncheck the "Send my call ID" option. You can also view other numbers in the settings, for example the device number or IMEI, which you can use in case of theft, so you can prove that the phone belongs to you.
