iPhone X: Show your own number - how to find it

If you are no longer sure what your own number is, it is no problem to have it displayed on the iPhone X. To do so, use either the Settings app or the Phone app of your iPhone model.

How to display your own number on iPhone X

If you have forgotten the number of your iPhone X, you can display it directly on the device. This is possible either or via the settings of the device or the phone app.

1. To read out the cell phone number via the phone app, please open it and click on Contacts. You can find your own number there right next to your profile picture.
2. To use the second option to display the number, please click on the "gear icon" to open the settings. In the settings, then go to "Phone" and open the "Phone settings" to view your number.

How to enable and disable the display of your number

If you do not want people who call you to see your phone number, you have the option to change this in the system settings of the iPhone X. To do so, select the "Phone" menu item after opening the settings and move the switch next to the "Send my caller ID" entry there so that it is no longer lit in green. To display your phone number again at a later time, simply set the switch under "Settings" > "Phone" > "Send my caller ID" back to "Active".
