Great updates have made No Man's Sky a better game long after launch. And it's not over yet: with the latest update called Synthesis, there are new things to discover again.

The Synthesis Update was distributed at the end of November 2019 and has been live since then.

No Man's Sky: What does the Synthesis Update bring?

The new features of the Synthesis Update are as follows:

• Space ships can be improved through upgrades - this also affects inventory slots and class.
• You can sell ships by recycling them. In return you get numerous materials.
• There are new VR features like the photo mode.
• The terrain manipulator has two new modes and works better overall.
• Outfit setups can now be saved individually.
• New technologies have been added.
• You can control exo-vehicles in first-person perspective.
• The star map got a fresh design and is now much more understandable.
