Turn off desktop notifications - how to do it
On computers with Windows 10, you will regularly receive tips and information from apps in the new Notification Center. If you find the notifications annoying, you always have the option to turn them off completely or only for individual apps. Here we show you how to do it correctly.
How to turn off all desktop notifications on your PC
Desktop notifications are messages that you receive from the operating system or individual installed apps. If you do not want them to be displayed as banners on your desktop, there are several ways to turn this off partially or completely.- To turn off desktop notifications completely, please click the Windows icon in the taskbar and open the settings.
- There, first click on "System" and then on the left in the menu bar on "Notifications and Actions".
- Here you will find under "Notifications" a list about all desktop notifications you receive and can disable them by setting the corresponding switch to "Off".
