The Honor 20 has a quad camera for taking photos and recording videos, which also has a zoom function. How to use the zoom to enlarge or reduce the size of your photo subjects and what other settings you can make, we explain here.

Honor 20: How to use the zoom

The Honor 20 has an optical zoom that you can use when taking photos and videos. To take a new photo, please first open the smartphone's camera by tapping the "Camera icon" in the app overview.

1. To zoom in or out on the object you want to photograph, please place two fingers on the display and move them apart.
2. On the other hand, if you want to zoom out on the subject, please bring the two fingers together in the viewfinder.
3. While you are using the zoom function, you will also see a zoom bar on the display of the Honor 20, which you can also use to zoom in or out on your subject.
4. Once you have set the desired zoom level, please tap the "circle icon" in the viewfinder or press the "Quiet button" twice to take a new photo.

In addition to a zoom function that allows you to reduce and enlarge your images, the Honor 20 has other important camera functions. Thus, you can not only adjust the camera resolution in the camera app under "Settings", but also activate the location tag function to record the place where the photo was taken. If you have also activated the "Take smile" function, the camera will automatically take a photo when it detects a smile in the viewfinder.
