View history - how to do it in the browser

The history stores all the web pages you have visited in your browser. Depending on the browser you use, you have several options to view the history of the last days or weeks. We explain in this article how to do it correctly.

With this key combination you can show the history

All common browsers have a history in which the web pages you have visited are stored. Depending on the browser, the history is stored for several days or even weeks and can be viewed at any time. Even though the procedure for accessing the history differs between browsers, there is one key combination that applies to almost all browsers. To do this, simply press the key combination of "Ctrl" + "H" in the open browser. If you have a Mac or MacBook, press the key combination of "Apple key" + "Y" instead.

How to view history via the browser menu

In addition to the above procedure for viewing history via key combination, each browser also has a path via the menu to access history.
  1. Using Google Chrome, please click the three-dot icon at the top right of the address bar and select the "History" item.
  2. In Firefox, to view the history, please first click the "three-dot icon" at the top right to open the menu. In the menu, then navigate to "Library" and select the "History" option.
  3. In Microsoft's latest browser, Microsoft Edge, you can also find the history by first opening the three-dot menu and then clicking "History".
