Update Google Play Store - how to do it
If you want to install an app on your Android device, you can either download it from the web and install it via PC or use Google Play Store. The store only offers certified apps that do not contain malware. However, the Google Play Store app also needs to be updated.
How to update the Google Play Store
In general, updating the Google Play Store works completely automatically. However, if you have problems with the same, the solution can be a manually performed update.- Open the Google Play Store app and then tap on the top left on the three vertically superimposed dashes.
- Now opens a menu. Further down the list, tap on "Settings".
- In the settings, you can look at the bottom of the current version of the Play Store. Once you tap on the version number, a notification will tell you whether you need to update the Play Store or not. If so, update the Play Store to the latest version.
- You can also enable "Update automatically" so that all apps are updated without your intervention.
- To do this, tap "Automatic app updates" in the settings and enable the option "Allow automatic app updates only via Wi-Fi".
- Sollten sich Apps dennoch nicht automatisch aktualisieren, können Sie unter Apps und Spiele manuell auf „Alle Aktualisieren“ tippen, um ein Update zu triggern.
