  1. After starting Outlook, click on "File" in the upper left corner.

  3. Now you have the option to set a time period in which the automatic replies will be sent. Enable "Send automatic reply" and specify a specific start and end date. If you do not specify a date, an automatic reply will always be sent from now until you turn it off again.
  4. The reply should definitely include the date from which you will be available again. You should also name a colleague who will step into the breach for you in urgent matters.
