How to convert a WLMP file

When you work with Windows Movie Maker, you create a WLMP file. This is where the image, the music used and everything else that belongs to this project is stored. If you want to continue working with the Windows Live Movie project or play it with another player, this is only possible if you convert the WLMP file into another format.

1. With Windows Movie Maker you can convert any WLMP file into another format.
2. To do this, open Windows Movie Maker on your PC and open the project you need to convert via "File" > "Open Project".
3. Then click again on "File" and now select the option "Save movie".
4. Now you can save your project as mp4 or as a wmv file.
5. If you need another format, this goes only via a video converter.
