WLAN hotspot iPhone - how to set it up

How a WLAN hotspot works on iPhone
To use your iPhone's data connection to browse the Internet with other devices, you need a hotspot. Once set up, this allows you to share your iPhone's data and surf the Internet with your tablet or laptop even without access to a WLAN network. Setting up a hotspot in this case is possible via Bluetooth, USB or WLAN and requires that you have activated and set up the hotspot function on your iPhone.iPhone: Use this procedure to set up a WLAN hotspot
To start setting up a WLAN hotspot, first open the Settings app of your iPhone by tapping on the "gear icon".- In the settings, then navigate to "Mobile Network" > "Personal Hotspot" and move the switch located there to the right.
- Have you activated the hotspot function, continue with the setup of the WLAN hotspot by tapping on the entry "WLAN password".
- Now enter a password for your hotspot of at least eight digits and confirm it by tapping on "Done".
- Now search for available WLAN networks on your tablet or laptop, tap on the name of your iPhone and enter the previously set password to connect to the hotspot.
