WhatsApp 3D Touch: This is how intuitive Messenger usage is

With WhatsApp's 3D Touch feature, the app can now be conveniently controlled via pressure sensitivity. This means you can click the WhatsApp icon by fingerprint and directly perform various functions.

By various touches with your finger, messages can be retrieved, sent or read aloud quickly and easily. This saves time and is very practical when you are on the go, for example. Using your fingerprint makes operating the messenger much more intuitive. 3D Touch is available from the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 11 and all newer models do not have 3D Touch, but Haptic Touch.

So you control WhatsApp via 3D Touch

Following functions are so far controllable via 3D Touch:

• WhatsApp Peek & Pop: With a light tap on the respective content, you can in the future via WhatsApp received videos, photos and links easily preview. After tapping, a window opens on your screen displaying the content. By tapping harder, the preview turns into a full display.
• When you swipe up in the preview, you get several additional actions that are commonly used. These actions differ depending on the content.
