Disable iPad Code: Remove the screen lock
If you disable the iPad code, your iPad is no longer protected against access by strangers. If you still want to turn off the lock, you can do so via the Settings app. Instead of a code, you can also use the fingerprint sensor on some iPad models.
How to disable a previously set code on iPad
To protect your iPad from unauthorized access by strangers, you should use a code for your device. You can set this code by going to "Code" or "Touch ID & Code" in the settings. If you want to deactivate your code again, please follow these steps:- On the home screen of your iPad, open the Settings app and go to "Code" or "Touch ID & Code" or "Face ID & Code".
- Now enter your current code and tap "Deactivate code".
- To confirm the deactivation, you must now enter your code a second time. The screen lock is now turned off and you can close the settings.
