In Pokémon Go, you can use your smartphone to catch new Pokémon anywhere and compete with them in arenas against other players. With the new buddy system, it is possible to collect more candies than usual for a particular Pokémon, allowing it to evolve faster.

What the Buddy System in Pokémon Go can do

The Buddy System has been introduced in Pokémon Go for some time. With this, it is possible to get additional candies for a certain Pokémon and in turn, evolve the Pokémon faster. But before you can access the benefits of the buddy system, you must first select a buddy. To do this, tap on your character in the character screen. Open the menu and select "Buddy". You can then choose a Pokémon.

1. You can change your buddy at any time using the method described above. However, your progress will be lost.
2. When you have selected a Pokémon as a buddy, you will have to run a few kilometers with it to unlock new candies.
3. The number of kilometers you have to run to get a new candy depends on the Pokémon you have chosen. Die Etappen liegen dabei bei einem, drei und fünf Kilometern.
