Step by step: how to schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting

To schedule a meeting on Teams, you basically just need to invite the participants. Here's how it works:
  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the calendar.
  2. Now click on "New meeting" at the top right. Now a window opens where you can specify meeting details such as date, time and title.
  3. In the "Required participants" field, now enter the names of all the people who should participate in the meeting. Under "Optional" you can also invite people whose participation is not mandatory.
  4. To create the meeting, click "Save". All participants will now be invited to the meeting via email.

Additional options for a Microsoft Teams meeting

To add participants outside your organization, enter their email address under "Required participants" and confirm by clicking "Invite".
