Jira: Delete Board - how to delete a board

Jira is a program specifically designed to meet the needs of a software team. It is designed to simplify the planning, tracking as well as releasing of software and therefore offers some useful features. In addition, you can use workflows and also create your own.

This is how you succeed in deleting a board in Jira

In Jira, various boards are available to you. You can create these yourself or use an existing board. In these, you have an overview of your projects and their respective status, so you can keep a good overview. There are three basic types of boards that you can use. One is the Next-gen board, which has a simplified handling and is quite intuitive to use. On the other hand a Kanban board, with which you can manage and limit your current work. A Scrum board can also be used. This manages your work in so-called sprints. If a board is no longer needed, then you can finally delete it.

1. First select the option "Boards" from the top menu in Jira.
2. Now select "Show all boards".
3. Finally click on "..." to the right of the board that you want to delete.

6. Sie können Ihre Boards auch über die Lupe suchen und haben dort ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, diese zu löschen.
