Google Chrome: Clear browser cache after each session

It makes sense to clear Chrome's cache regularly. This will prevent your browser from losing performance or displaying outdated content. You can also set Chrome to automatically clear the data after each session.

Clear the browser cache after each session

In the so-called cache, your browser stores web content as a copy. If you then call up a website again later, certain content can be loaded from this cache instead of from the web. This saves time, but it also has disadvantages. If too much data is stored in the cache, it can slow down the browser overall. It is also possible that a website has been updated in the meantime and the browser loads old content from the cache instead of the new data. It is therefore important to clear the cache regularly. You can set your browser to automatically clear the cache after each session.

Setting the browser properly

  1. Open Chrome and click on the menu in the top right corner.
