Repairing UEFI Boot - These are your options now

Windows offers a UEFI boot loader. However, if this is damaged, the system may fail to boot. There are various ways to repair this. In doing so, you may well have to try several options.

How to repair UEFI Boot on Windows

To repair UEFI Boot, first try to repair with Windows ISO.

1. First, you can try to repair UEFI Boot with a bootable drive.
2. To do this, download EaseUS Partition Manager Pro on another PC.
3. After that, boot the computer with the same operating system.
4. After that, click "Tool" > "Create WinPE bootable disk".
5. Now select the media.
6. Export the Windows ISO.
7. Confirm the changes with "Continue".
8. Connect the external disk to the defective PC and go to the BIOS menu to change the boot order.
9. Restart your PC, the repair will be done automatically.

Laufwerk mit Diskpart reparieren

Auch Konsolenbefehle können helfen:

1. Drücken Sie Steuerung + R, geben Sie „regedit ein“ und geben Sie zunächst den Befehl „diskpart“ ein.
2. Anschließend lassen Sie sich mit „list disk“ Ihre Laufwerke anzeigen.
3. Nutzen Sie „sel disk [Zahl]“, um die Festplatte mit dem Betriebssystem aufzurufen.
4. Dann geben Sie „list par“ ein, um zu sehen, welche die Partition mit dem Typ „Primär“ markiert ist. Diese Partition benötigen Sie.
5. Wählen Sie sie mit „sel par [Zahl]“ aus.
6. Sie reparieren den UEFI Boot, indem Sie der Partition kurzzeitig einen Laufwerkbuchstaben zuweisen: „assign letter = [Buchstabe]“.
7. Schließen Sie mit „exit“ und starten Sie Ihren PC neu.
