Open saved images - how to find your recordings

You can record both videos and images with your smartphone. In order to find them again later to edit, view or resend them, you need to know the respective storage location.

How to open your saved pictures

You can open your saved pictures on your smartphone as well as on your PC in the process. After that, you have many options on how to proceed with your pictures. Whether editing, sending or printing; there are a variety of alternatives available to you.

1. If you have taken a picture with the camera app, then you will find it by switching to the overview of your apps. There you will find either a button called "Gallery" or also "Photos".
2. Click on the app. After opening it, you will see all the pictures available on your smartphone, which may still be cataloged in sub-albums. There you will also see your pictures that you have sent via WhatsApp, for example, but also your screenshots.
3. Select your desired image so that you can either open it, edit it or also send it.
4. Further, you have the option to open your saved images on the PC.
5. To do this, connect your smartphone to your computer and confirm that the files may be accessed.
6. Now open the folder in Explorer with the name of your smartphone.
7. Then click on "Phone".
8. Now you will see all the folders that are on your Android smartphone. Now double-click to switch to the "DCIM" folder. Now you have access to all the stored images that you have taken with your camera and can continue with them as you wish and also save them on your PC.
