Maxdome: Change Pin - how to make your account safe

When you create an account with Maxdome, you have to choose a pin that is the password for all content that is only for people over 18. For youth protection reasons, you should change this pin regularly to make it more difficult to access the content.

How to change your pin on Maxdome

To prevent children from watching content on Maxdome that is not intended for their age, you should change your pin regularly. This consists of only four digits and is therefore usually relatively easy to crack. If you want to change your pin, this is done in a few steps via your account.

1. First start Maxdome and log in with your current account data.
2. Then go to "My Account" and then to Age Rating.
3. Here you can now choose between "Forgot Pin" or "Change Pin".
4. Select "Change Pin" to change the pin.
5. Then enter a new pin. If you have selected "Forgot Pin" instead, you must first enter your account password to assign a new pin.
6. Finally, click the "Change Pin" button to confirm the change and the new pin.

For reasons of youth protection, it is not possible to prevent the pin request for certain content. Therefore, you must enter it again and again.
