Alexa: Turn off "OK" - all info on voice feedback

You can control your Amazon Echo or Echo Dot with voice commands. Each voice command you enter is confirmed with visual and voice feedback before it is executed. Learn what options you have to customize voice feedback from your Echo device.

Alexa: Turn on short mode and turn off "OK"

If you want to adjust Alexa's voice feedback, you can do so via the settings in the Alexa app, among other things. However, you can not completely disable the feedback. However, you have the option to reduce it via the short mode. The Echo device then only emits a short tone as confirmation instead of the usual "OK". The visual feedback remains as usual even when short mode is active.Follow these steps to activate short mode in the Alexa app:

1. Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Tap on "Alexa account" in the navigation to access the settings.
3. Tap on "Alexa voice responses" in the overview.
4. Activate the slider at the "Short mode" option.
