Microsoft Teams: Making a group call

Whether it's between two people or large groups, Microsoft Teams lets you schedule and conduct video conferences individually. Especially in times of the home office, video conferences are becoming an indispensable tool. Teams offers different options for this.

How to make a group call in Microsoft Teams

In the free version of Teams, the number of members in a group is limited to 300 people. This is how you start a call with a specific group:

1. Open Microsoft Teams and click on "Teams" in the selection.
2. Now select the team you want to make a group call with by clicking on it.
3. Within the team, click on "Meeting" at the top right edge.
4. Now you have the choice between "Discuss now" or "Schedule meeting".
5. To start a group call directly and call all group members, click on "Discuss now"

This is how you make a group call using the Teams chat feature

1. Open Teams Chat and click on the "pencil icon" to create a new chat.Nun können Sie einzelne Namen, Gruppen oder E-Mail-Adressen der Personen eingeben, mit denen Sie einen Gruppenanruf starten möchten.
