iPhone: Delete stored WLAN - how it works

If you don't want to log in to your WLAN every time, create a profile on your iPhone. Once you are in range of the WLAN, your iPhone will automatically connect to the Internet. If you have problems with the connection, it may be necessary to delete the saved WLAN.

How to delete saved WLAN on your iPhone

If you don't want your iPhone to connect to the WLAN, you can disable the green switch via the settings. However, if you have problems with your WLAN, it usually helps to delete your WLAN profile and then create it again.

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Click on the WLAN option.
3. Next to the various entries, there is a blue "i". Click on the sign next to the WLAN profile you want to delete.
4. Then select "Ignore this network". After that, the profile is deleted from the device and it is possible to re-enter the data.

Reset network settings

If there are major problems with the network, it is possible to delete the saved WLAN with the network settings made.
