Viber: Delete entire chats - this is how it works

If it's not enough to delete individual messages, Viber also gives you the option to remove entire chats. Our guide explains how to do this, on Android and iOS.

Just one finger needed: you can easily delete Viber chats completely.

If you no longer want to see certain chats, you can quickly remedy the situation in Viber.

Viber: Delete chat - here's how

The finger movements with which you can delete chats differ slightly depending on the operating system:

• On an Android device, press your finger on a chat in the chat overview until further options appear. There you can then delete the chat.
• On an iPhone, also open the chat overview. Then swipe your finger sideways over the chat you want to delete. This will give you the desired option.

Deleted chats disappear completely from the overview and are therefore no longer visible. Note, however, that the contact can still write to you, if he is not additionally blocked.
