Similar to the OneNote template, a Confluence template provides a predefined layout for the page. Basically, Confluence distinguishes between global and area templates. A global template is available for all Confluence areas, while an area template is only used in certain areas:- Global Template: In the Confluence Administration, click on the "gear icon" in the top right menu bar and there on "General Configurations". On the left side you will now find the item "Global templates and blueprints". There you click on the command "Add template for global page". In the editor, you can then customize the template.
- Area template: In a selected area, click in the menu on "Configure area" and there on "Contents". Within this menu item, click on the "Create new template" button. Schließlich bearbeiten Sie die Vorlage ähnlich wie bei der Erstellung einer neuen Seite.
