Each new FIFA release means a fresh start for the community, as scores and teams from previous generations are not carried over.

FIFA 20: Release in September - as always

For years, FIFA has always been released at the same time of year:

• FIFA 20 will be released on Friday, September 27, 2019. Buyers of the Champions Edition and Ultimate Edition may start three days earlier, i.e. on September 24
• The release will take place simultaneously on all platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Windows 10.
• The cover of the German standard edition is graced by Eden Hazard in a Real Madrid jersey. The Champions Edition features Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool FC), and the Ultimate Edition features Real coach Zinedine Zidane.
