• Get frost resistance mead, which you brew in the cauldron and then add to the fermenter.
• For this you need 10 honey, 5 thistle, 2 blood bags and 1 gray dwarf eye.
• The most difficult of these ingredients are the blood bags, as you need to discover a swamp biome to farm the item. You can get it there from leeches.

Once the mead is made and consumed, the effect lasts for ten minutes. During this time, the cold can not harm you and this should be used effectively to farm as many valuable materials.
