Windows Mail: Create signature - this option is available

Windows 10 has an email app that you can connect to different email accounts. This gives you the ability to manage all your emails through one program. Of course, you can also send emails and give them a uniform signature. This is easily done via the settings.

How to create a signature

With a signature, a recipient of your email can easily determine who the email came from and write you back in response. A signature is a short enumeration of your data. The name, email address, and phone number are usually used. Links to social media accounts have also become standard. Under Windows 10, the signature can be quickly set up in the Mail app.

1. Open the Mail app by clicking on the Mail icon at the bottom of the Quick Launch bar or by entering the word "Mail" in the Windows search bar at the bottom left and then confirming with the Enter key.
2. Within the app, now go to Settings at the bottom left. Wählen Sie als nächstes die Signatur und das Mail-Konto, für das Sie die Signatur festlegen wollen.
3. Aktivieren Sie die Funktion mit der Option „E-Mail Signatur verwenden“ und erstellen Sie Ihre persönliche E-Mail-Signatur. Dazu geben Sie einfach einen Text in das entsprechende Fenster ein.
4. Die Signatur wird danach automatisch abgespeichert und an jede von Ihnen verfasste E-Mail angehängt.
