Huawei P30 Lite: How to turn on the GPS function for navigation

In order to navigate, use the search function or the weather app with your Huawei P30 Lite, the device needs access to the GPS function. If this has not been enabled yet, please follow the steps below to catch up on the activation.

1. Go to the app overview on the Huawei P30 Lite and tap the Settings app icon there to open it.
2. Navigate to "Security & Privacy" > "Location access" in the settings and move the slider next to the "Access my location" entry to the right to turn on the function.
3. Tap then on "Location Accuracy" > "Improve Location Accuracy" to allow the device to use other sources such as Wi-Fi or cellular networks in addition to GPS for better navigation.
4. To exit and return to the Home screen, simply swipe up on the display.
