In order to withdraw money with Apple Pay at an ATM, it must be compatible with the NFC transmission standard. So theoretically you could use your iPhone to withdraw cash, but in practice there are hardly any ATMs in Germany so far that support NFC technology.

How you can withdraw money with Apple Pay via a detour

• The only way so far to withdraw money via Apple Pay is to use and integrate an account from the bank N26 with Apple Pay.
• The bank cooperates with numerous supermarkets in Germany, for example, Rewe, Real or DM.
• With the app, you can withdraw money at the checkouts of the cooperating supermarkets as follows: Through the N26 app, you select an amount, whereupon a barcode is generated.
• You have this barcode scanned at the checkout, the amount is then paid out to you.
