Tier: This is how much the e-scooters cost to use

In order to use an e-scooter from Tier, it must first be rented using the associated app. This rental does not require a special contract, but is simply started and ended via the app. Of course, a ride with the scooter costs a fee that increases with duration.

Tier: E-scooter costs at a glance

Generally, rides on an e-scooter are manageable. The basic fee for a ride is one euro and increases with the duration of the ride.

1. Once you have registered a scooter via the app, one euro of basic fee is already booked via your stored payment method.
2. For each additional minute on the scooter, another 19 cents are charged.
3. Once you finish a ride, the fee is not increased further.
4. Each broken minute, however, is debited in full, even if you have used only a single second of it.

Tier: Is the cost of the e-scooter profitable?

1. The basic fee of one euro makes the e-scooter from Tier similar in price to a normal bus ride.
2. Short distances over 2 kilometers usually range between one and two euros.
