Valorant: What you need to know about the heroes - all info

Valorant started with ten heroes, also called agents. Shortly after, the first new addition followed. In the future, the number of heroes should continue to grow constantly. We give an overview.

Heroes with individual skills are not a new invention. Valorant takes the successful principle and implements it in its own way.

Valorant: Unlocking and selecting heroes - the basics

In Valorant, you can draw on a growing number of heroes. Here is the most important info about them:

• Each hero belongs to one of the four roles (Initiator, Duelist, Tactician, Guardian).
• Despite this, even heroes of the same role differ from each other. This concerns the four skills - these are namely individual for each hero.
• You must first unlock some heroes, for example, Raze, Breach and Viper. The requirements are different for each hero.
• It is important: Two heroes you can unlock by simply playing without having to meet certain criteria. At level 5 and 10 you get namely one unlock each, which you can use as you like.
• After that, you must accept and fulfill orders to unlock more heroes.

With the decision for a particular role, it is thus not done; you must also compare what skills each agent has. For this, an important tip: you can try out heroes in training mode before unlocking them. This way you can see if you really want to invest the time to unlock that agent.
