Beforehand: If you do not yet have a PayPal account, we will show you how to create one in this guide.To set up PayPal as a payment method on eBay, you need to open your account settings:

1. Open ebay.co.uk and log in.
2. Click on the top left on your profile name and then on "Account Settings".
3. Click on the left under "Payments" on "PayPal Account".
4. If you already have a PayPal account, click in the right area of the page under "PayPal Account" available on "Link my PayPal account".
5. You will now be redirected to PayPal and must log in there. In this way, you also confirm the link with eBay at the same time - so the setup is complete.

About the button "Back to eBay" you get back to the buying and selling platform and can pay your next purchase with PayPal.

eBay and PayPal: How to make changes to the payment settings

If you want to link a new PayPal account with your Ebay account, the change is also possible via the account settings. To do this, go to "eBay account" on ebay.com and select the "PayPal" option. You will then be redirected and can update your information. Alternatively, you also have the option to make changes during checkout by clicking "Change".
