Is my working memory full? How to find out

Your computer's RAM is where all the programs that are currently running are stored. The main memory has a certain size. If you run many performance-intensive applications at the same time, it may happen that the working memory is full. You can find the necessary information in the task manager.

This shows if your working memory is full

Working memory, or RAM, manages the programs you are currently running. If you have little RAM and use programs that require a lot of power, it may be that the RAM is full. When this happens, applications are swapped out to what's called virtual memory. This is a part on your computer's hard disk that serves as fallback memory for RAM. This way, all applications can still be run and there will be no data loss or crashes. However, the system slows down significantly and the individual applications also run less smoothly. So finden Sie die Angabe

1. Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten STRG, ALT und ENTF.
2. Der Tastmanager wird geöffnet.

4. Wählen Sie oben die Registerkarte „Leistung“.
5. Links sehen Sie eine Liste der verschiedenen Komponenten Ihres Computers.
6. Der Arbeitsspeicher steht an zweiter Stelle.
7. Unter jeder Komponente wird die Auslastung in Prozent anzeigt.
8. Klicken Sie auf „Arbeitsspeicher“, um weitere Details zu erhalten.
9. Sie sehen unten die Angabe „In Verwendung“.
10. Darunter wird angezeigt, wie viel Arbeitsspeicher genutzt wird und wie viel noch zur Verfügung steht.
