You can easily disable voicemail on iPhone X if you don't want callers to be forwarded to voicemail. Additionally, you have the option to forward calls to your voicemail only in certain cases.

If you find voicemail on iPhone X more annoying than useful, you can safely disable it. Instead of being able to leave a message, callers will then only receive the announcement that you are currently unavailable if you do not answer the call or your iPhone is switched off. In addition, there is the option to let the call forwarding come into play only in certain situations.

1. Open the phone app and tap on "Numeric keypad" at the bottom. Here you need to enter the codes to disable your voicemail on iPhone X.
2. To turn off voicemail completely, dial ##002# and then press the handset.
3. To disable your caller from being forwarded to voicemail after a certain amount of ringback time, dial ##61#.
4. If you call ##62#, no voicemail will be offered if your iPhone is currently turned off.
5. If you dial ##67#, you will disable voicemail for the situation that you are currently on the phone and receive another call.

After you disable voicemail or any of the features, you will receive a short message on your iPhone X that this was successful. If this is not the case, you have to deactivate the voicemail via your mobile provider such as Telekom.
