Google Stadia on PC: How to set up a controller

Google Stadia: How to connect the different controllers

For the connection with the PC, this means:

• You just have to connect an Xbox or PlayStation controller normally via USB or Bluetooth. Then the input device is also ready for Stadia.
• If you want to connect a Stadia controller, this also goes via USB cable.
• Alternatively, you can also connect the Stadia controller via the WLAN with the PC. This is done via input code, and the Stadia app is also required.
• Then open Stadia in the browser and click on the controller icon in the upper right corner. There you will see a code in the form of a key combination.

After entering the code, the Stadia controller is connected to the PC via WLAN and can be used. The advantage of the WLAN connection is supposed to be a lower latency. Whether this is noticeable in most games remains another question. Those who own a Stadia controller anyway can simply try out this type of connection for themselves.
