Enable G-Sync: With these steps it works

With G-Sync, Nvidia graphics cards and compatible monitors deliver perfect performance. But in order to do that, G-Sync has to be enabled first. Our guide shows you how to proceed correctly to enable G-Sync on your device.

G-Sync is easy to enable and set up - and the effects are impressive.

These are the requirements to enable G-Sync

G-Sync is the Nvidia variant analogous to AMD's FreeSync. G-Sync is only compatible with Nvidia graphics cards, such as the GeForce 1050 Ti or the GeForce 1070 Ti. Furthermore, the monitor has to be capable of G-Sync. This is either the case with special G-Sync monitors or with FreeSync monitors that are compatible with G-Sync.

Enable G-Sync: Easy thanks to Nvidia Control Panel

If you want to enable G-Sync, it only takes a few steps. Proceed as follows
  1. Open the Nvidia control panel. You can access this after right-clicking on a free space on the desktop.
  2. Click on "Display" in the menu bar at the top.
  3. Select "Set up G-Sync" and activate the function for "Window and Fullscreen Mode", if you haven't already.
From this moment on, the graphics card and monitors align their refresh rates. Tearing ist damit Vergangenheit und das Bild läuft noch flüssiger, was nicht nur beim Gaming ein echter Augenschmaus ist
