Enable G-Sync: With these steps it works
With G-Sync, Nvidia graphics cards and compatible monitors deliver perfect performance. But in order to do that, G-Sync has to be enabled first. Our guide shows you how to proceed correctly to enable G-Sync on your device.
These are the requirements to enable G-Sync
G-Sync is the Nvidia variant analogous to AMD's FreeSync. G-Sync is only compatible with Nvidia graphics cards, such as the GeForce 1050 Ti or the GeForce 1070 Ti. Furthermore, the monitor has to be capable of G-Sync. This is either the case with special G-Sync monitors or with FreeSync monitors that are compatible with G-Sync.Enable G-Sync: Easy thanks to Nvidia Control Panel
If you want to enable G-Sync, it only takes a few steps. Proceed as follows- Open the Nvidia control panel. You can access this after right-clicking on a free space on the desktop.
- Click on "Display" in the menu bar at the top.
- Select "Set up G-Sync" and activate the function for "Window and Fullscreen Mode", if you haven't already.
