F1 2020: You can play Formula 2 in these modes

Formula 2 was already included in F1 2019. However, its role has been expanded in F1 2020.

F1 2020: Formula 2 this year with a larger role - if desired

All players who want to get started in career mode will inevitably come into contact with Formula 2. There you start first in a team of Formula 2. Exactly as in the predecessor so, but now you have four options:

• With the so-called sample you play three scenarios. This is suitable for players who only want to have a short prelude in Formula 2.
• This is opposed to the complete F2 season with twelve main races and twelve sprint races.
• A middle ground is the short season, in which you have to contest six main races.
• You can also skip Formula 2 completely and start directly in the formula.

In all cases, you drive the 2019 Formula 2 models.

This also applies in other game modes where you can control the F2 cars (Grand Prix and Time Trial).

Since Formula 2 is noticeably slower compared to the premier class, at least a short detour is recommended for new F1 players. In this way, they can get to know the driving experience and the tracks at a somewhat more moderate pace.
