To register your EasyBox, you don't need to call a technician into the house, you can do it yourself without any prior knowledge. To do this, navigate to the router's settings and make the appropriate changes.

How to register your EasyBox

After you have connected the EasyBox to your computer with a LAN cable, your operating system will automatically detect the LAN connection and adjust the PC's settings to it. Then open the router menu in the browser you are using. After entering your personal password, you can access the settings and assign your own name to your WLAN:

1. Select the "WLAN" tab within the menu.
2. Navigate further to "General".
3. Enter the name you want for the WLAN at "WLAN name (SSID)".
4. Finally click on "Confirm" so that the change is applied.

Change your WLAN password

To increase the security of your network, you can secure it with a password. Here, it is recommended to choose a combination of upper and lower case letters as well as special characters and numbers. To enter the new security key, proceed as follows:

1. Select "WLAN" in the EasyBox menu.
2. Navigate to the "General" tab.
3. Under Network Key you will find the option "Change Key".
